Canadian and India operations
Canadian client work is not shared with our India operation. MTB operates in India through J&J Accountants, with separate service operations.
We respect client confidentiality and applicable Canadian privacy obligations, including PIPEDA. Canadian client work and associated records are not provided to J&J Accountants for processing in India.
Website enquiries
The contact and careers forms ask for the details you choose to provide so MapleTrust Books can respond to your enquiry or expression of interest. Do not include tax returns, SINs, banking details or private client records in these public forms.
Form delivery
Forms send information through the website’s Vercel-hosted server function and Resend email service to the firm’s configured contact or careers inbox. These providers process the submitted information as part of hosting and delivery. A short-lived confirmation cookie contains only the submission type and reference; it does not contain the form contents. If email-draft mode is enabled, the website prepares an email for you to send from your own email app.
Service planner
The planner uses your selected service preferences and general business context to prepare an enquiry brief. The selections are carried to the contact page in the page address. The planner does not ask for your name, email, financial documents or account credentials.
Client documents
Use the private Client Portal and the access issued by the firm for engagement documents. The public website does not provide access to another client’s records.
External services
Client sign-in, consultation booking and social links open separate services. Their sign-in, hosting and data handling are managed by those services. The website does not collect your portal password.
Visual effects preference
This website can remember whether you want visual effects on or off in this browser. The preference is stored on your device using browser storage and is not sent with an enquiry.
Website assets
The website’s font and 3D assets are served with the website. No marketing analytics or advertising scripts are included in this website package. Hosting and form-delivery providers may process technical information to operate their services.
